Celebrating the great Aussie barbie

The MooloolaBaBQ Festival celebrates our nation’s love of firing up the barbie.

From seafood to pork to beef and lamb, whether charred, grilled, smoked, roasted, on a spit or marinated, this event is sure to tempt a range of tastes.

The MooloolaBaBQ Festival will also host a National Championship Series Barbecue competition where Australia’s best teams will be invited to compete for cash and prizes.

This charity event, which will raise money for Give Me 5 for Kids, kicks off at 10am with food trucks, food market stalls, celebrity guests and demonstrations, live entertainment, a jumping castle, petting zoo, face painting and fireworks at 8pm.

The MooloolaBaBQ Festival is on January 27 from 10am to 8pm at The Wharf Mooloolaba. Tickets are $15 and kids under 12 are free.
