On-trend: Inspired by coral

This year’s Pantone Colour of the Year, Living Coral, is already taking the interior design world by storm.

The interior design world has kicked off 2019 on a vibrant note with the Pantone Colour Institute announcing Living Coral as its colour of the year. Described as a “natural, playful shade [that] evokes a sense of comfort and buoyancy”, the striking hue should be used sparingly in the home to add pops of colour. We’ve compiled some of our favourite products that reflect the look.

Splash of colour

This vibrant hue from Haymes Paint will brighten the dullest of rooms. The Haymes Amber Flame is bright, beautiful and lively. It will bring new life to dated furniture and decor accents.

We love!

The Robert Mark Tribe with Gel Canvas Art in black frame features a complex mix of yellow, orange and brown. It’s from Domayne.

Complete the look

This beautiful wild foliage with contrast piping is the perfect piece to finish the Kas Arabella look. It’s also from Kas Australia. The thatch cushion in coral is from Domayne.

Coral canvas

A feature of Karibou’s Signature series, a collaboration between Australian artists and Karibou Art Co, the Delicate Coral Reef II in Red framed art print is stunning. Visit karibouartco.com.au.
