A dramatic riverfront residence that belies the complexity of its construction achieved an exceptional six wins across multiple categories at the 2026 Master Builders Sunshine Coast Housing & Construction Awards.
The red carpet was rolled out for a glamorous crowd at Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort at Twin Waters on August 21.
Tyson Building Group was honoured with the prestigious Sunshine Mitre 10 House of the Year Award for Mooloolaba masterpiece Azura.
Defined by a sweeping roofline, curved built forms and a seamless connection with the water’s edge, the three-level home features a sculptural curved staircase at its heart, a passenger lift and a basement constructed about 1.8m below high tide level, featuring a car lift, gym and cellar.
The future looks bright for The Industry School Apprentice of the Year Award winner Oliver Cassells, from Becker Constructions.
Ollie and the Becker team were also awarded best Home Renovation Project from $1million up to $2million for the breathtaking Moffat Beach transformation, Derby.
