Mercedes-Benz Sunshine Coast has announced local nutritionist and sustainability advocate, Cyndi O’Meara, as the local ambassador for its first all-electric car release, the Mercedes-Benz EQC, recently awarded Wheels Car of the Year 2020.
As an international speaker on sustainability, real food nutrition and regenerative agriculture, Ms O’Meara’s travel between her real food business, nutrition academy and organic farm commands a trusted vehicle sporting intelligent innovation, equally empathic to the environment.
“The ethos of the EQC is everything I’m passionate for. Releasing no local emissions with a discrete carbon footprint when charged correctly, that’s how we can make a difference now for the future,” she says.
“Mercedes have lifted innovation to the nth degree, delivering an elegant, efficient machine that has subtly incorporated sustainable measures throughout. From the electric powertrain to the interior trim, the EQ represents sustainability executed immaculately.”
“My love is the environment, outdoor adventures, the beauty of this earth and its nourishing real food. Now the Mercedes-Benz EQC epitomises just how we can all attribute our modern world lifestyle to ensure ethical, sustainable and trusted values are the only footprint we leave,” Cyndi says.
Cyndi is the founder of Changing Habits, an online wholefood store and education sector, The Nutrition Academy. She is currently engaging in regenerative farming methods on her farm outside Maleny, which also provides a food forest for her family and the community in agriculture strips surrounding the property.
