Four ways to introduce gelati colours into your home

Four ways to introduce gelati colours into your home

Don’t shy away from colours this winter.

Ice cream-inspired colours are proving to be a popular interior design trend this year. Don’t wait for spring – you never need an excuse to mix pretty pastels. Purchase new pieces, or grab a paint brush and bring new life to an old favourite. Either way, don’t be afraid to build from a neutral base to create a delicious blend of colour.

Bits and bobs
Add a touch of prettiness to an otherwise dull corner of a room – or brighten a hallway – with a few of your favourite things. Vintage lamps and pendants, vases, potted flowers and colourful cushions will create a comfy and inviting space.

On the wall
The Coast poster from Urban Road is printed using vibrant and fade-resistant inks. Artwork such as this piece can dress up an otherwise neutral-coloured space.

A splash of colour
Feature walls are an ideal backdrop. The Condare colour, pictured, is from Haymes Paints’ Conscious collection. The Conscious palette features soft, light colours with a touch of femininity.
