The Sunshine Coast community has rallied behind vulnerable local children and families.
A total of $210,000 was raised through the inaugural Travis Schultz Noosa Winemakers Lunch for SunnyKids, powered by McLure Prestige Luxury Real Estate.
Held during Noosa Concours d’Elegance, the sold-out event brought together supporters for an afternoon celebrating exceptional food, premium Australian wines and the power of
giving back. Funds raised will support SunnyKids’ work with children and families experiencing domestic and family violence in the Noosa region.
SunnyKids CEO Kathleen Hope says the generosity shown throughout the day will have a lasting impact on the lives of local families.
“Every dollar raised represents hope for children and families experiencing domestic and family violence,” she says.
“The generosity of everyone who attended, donated, bid in the auction or supported the event demonstrates just how much our community cares about helping local families find safety, rebuild their lives and look towards a brighter future.”
Founding partner Travis Schultz OAM says the event has always been about bringing the community together to make a meaningful difference.
“From the beginning, our vision was to create an event that celebrated the very best of Noosa, while making a genuine difference for local children and families,” he says.
“To see the community respond so enthusiastically to the inaugural event has been incredibly rewarding.
“The generosity shown throughout the afternoon exceeded our expectations and demonstrates what can be achieved when businesses and individuals unite behind an important local cause.”
