Women who build, lead and grow businesses honoured

The region’s businesswomen have been recognised for their achievements at the 27th annual Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network (SCBWN) Awards.

Now in its 27th year, the awards were presented at Venue 114, Bokarina, on August 21, with winners celebrated across a range of categories recognising women building, leading and growing businesses across the region.

The 2026 SCBWN Award winners are:

  • Michelle Hamer Alumni Award – Vicki Clark
  • Micro/Small Business Woman of the Year – Erin Barnes, A Human Edge
  • Sustainable Business Woman of the Year – Nikki Fogden-Moore, The Mojo Maker Group
  • Professional Business Woman of the Year – Denise Jensen, Destiny Rescue
  • Corporate Business Woman of the Year – Jodi Theisen, Digital Nomads HQ
  • Young Business Woman of the Year – Keely Abbot, Kinetic
  • Outstanding Business Woman of the Year – Agnes Pennay, Fresh Meats.

SCBWN president Paula Williamson says the awards exist to amplify women in business and the ripple effect that creates.

“We know that when we amplify one woman, the impact rarely stops with her,” she says. “It builds confidence, opens doors and helps create opportunity for others. Being recognised is an achievement in itself.”

Hear from these winners at a special breakfast on Tuesday, September 15, at Maroochy Surf Club. The event is open to SCBWN members and guests, with tickets available at scbwn.org.au
