In excess of $20,000 was raised at the auction held at Kon-Tiki in Maroochydore. More than 100 people turned out to bid on artworks donated by local and internationally-renowned artists. The top auction bid was a horse sculpture which netted $3800 for the appeal. All funds raised will go towards purchasing two paediatric ventilators for Nambour and Sunshine Coast University hospitals, as well as continuing yoga therapy and the Clown Doctor service.
