Economic Impact of Regional Universities Corporate Luncheon

More than 50 Sunshine Coast business people came together at a corporate luncheon in Caloundra to hear the findings from the Regional Universities Network’s recent study into the contribution regional universities make to local economies. Nous Group director Jonathan Chew provided an overview of the outcomes at the event – hosted by the Sunshine Coast Business Council – and identified key areas where regional universities like the University of the Sunshine Coast can enhance their economic impact through improved performance and policy conditions. Speakers included Sandy Zubrinich, chair of the Sunshine Coast Business Council and Don Maconachie from the University of the Sunshine Coast.
