A large crowd gathered at Venue 114 to hear Paralympian Karni Liddell speak. She had the audience captivated as she shared her journey of defying doctors orders not to exercise her when she was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy to breaking a swimming world record at the age of 14. Compass Institute CEO David Dangerfield spoke about the work being done for young people with disabilities and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
