Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network Mother’s Day Breakfast

Guests and members of the Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network sat down to a special Mother’s Day breakfast recently to hear the incredible story of Sue and Saroo Brierley. The mother and son, whose story was the subject of the Oscar-nominated film Lion, shared their incredible personal tale. Sue also spoke about the importance of adoption and the rights of every child in the world to have a relationship with a loving mother. The breakfast was a celebration of all mothers – whether they are birth mothers, adoptive mothers, stepmothers, guardians or caregivers – and the amazing love, strength, guidance and wisdom shared by the beautiful women.
