A traditional Welcome to Country
and smoking ceremony marked the dawning of a new era with the unveiling of a contemporary new name and brand for Lake Kawana Community Centre. Deputy mayor Tim Dwyer addressed the crowd, saying the rebranding was a significant milestone for the community-focused council facility. Deliciously Clean Eats provided a fantastic spread, while local singer-songwriter Mason Hope played an impressive live set.
